Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Chadash Christian Ministries (“Chadash,” “we,” “us”) collects through chadashchristianministries.org, how we use it, and the choices you have. We only describe practices that actually apply to this website.
Information we collect
Most pages on this site are informational and do not require you to provide any personal information to view them. We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us through one of the features below.
- Trip applications. If you apply for a Chadash program, we collect the information you enter on the application form. This includes your name, date of birth, mailing address, email, phone numbers, parent or guardian contact details, pastor and trusted-person contacts, emergency contacts, and the medical history questions on the form (allergies, conditions, medications, and similar). We collect this information because it is necessary to evaluate applications and to keep participants safe on trips.
- Donations. When you give through the site, we collect the donation amount, the campaign category you select, and basic contact information needed to process the payment. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
- Accounts and authentication. If you create an account (for example, to manage an application), we collect your email address and, if you choose Google sign-in, the basic profile information Google returns (name and email). Passwords are stored as salted hashes by our authentication provider; we never see your plaintext password.
- Email you send us. If you email chadashcamp@gmail.com, we receive whatever you choose to send.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and backend providers receive standard request information (IP address, browser user agent, timestamps) needed to serve pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar analytics on this site.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of strictly functional cookies and local browser storage, primarily to keep you signed in to your account while you use the site. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use your information
- To review and respond to program applications.
- To prepare for trips and respond to medical or emergency situations during a program.
- To process donations and send receipts or acknowledgements.
- To operate accounts, including sign-in, password reset, and account-related email.
- To send transactional email related to something you initiated (application updates, donation receipts, account email).
- To keep the site secure and to comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Service providers we share information with
We share information with a small number of vendors strictly to run the site and our ministry operations:
- Hosting & database. Cloudflare (edge hosting) and our managed database provider host the site and store application, donation, and account records.
- Payments. Stripe processes donations. Card details are submitted directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe’s privacy policy.
- Email delivery. Our outbound transactional email (sign-up confirmations, password resets, donation-related email) is sent through our email infrastructure provider.
- Google sign-in (optional). If you choose to sign in with Google, Google handles that authentication step.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the safety of participants, or in connection with a legal claim.
Data retention
We keep application records for as long as needed to administer the program you applied for and to meet recordkeeping obligations (for example, parental-consent and incident-response records related to minors on trips). Donation records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes. Account records are kept while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time using the contact below; we will honor the request unless we are required to keep specific records.
Children's privacy
Some Chadash programs serve minors. Applications involving a minor are submitted by a parent or guardian, or with parental consent. Medical and emergency information about minors is used only for the safety of the participant during the program.
Security
Connections to this site are encrypted (HTTPS). Application and account data is stored in an access-controlled database with row-level security policies. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for a specific purpose. Email us using the address below and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, give notice on the site.
